on 16th dec was the final day of the daybreak's children holiday programme. we first brought them to a mac's party at ginza plaza where the kids played simple games. to win a simple game, a selected person got to do a forfeit. u either got to dance, sing or jump 3 times. well, one very shy girl didnt want to do any of the forfeits and the woman frm macdonalds started shouting JUMP JUMP JUMP. and soon, everyone followed suit. the poor girl is obviously embarrassed standing up infront of 40 odd ppl. and the dumb senseless woman continued chanting which nearly reduced the girl to tears.

later, we went to omnimax theatre to watch open seasons. we were late for the movie and 33 kids rushing into the theatre is quite a nuisance to the public. although the movie was quite entertaining, i actually nearly fell asleep during some parts of the show. this excursion really drained me out, especially dealing with the mischievious pair of twins. elder is called MICHAEL and the younger is named JACKSON. funny isnt it?! hahas. anyway, michael like to stick to me and will follow me where ever i go, asking me to sit him on the bus or in the theatre. at first, i thought he was a boy full of mischievous tactics or endless whining. but later, i found out he was quite helpful and thoughtful. when he saw my hands were full, he helped me carry my things. and he ticked off the person who was kicking my chair during the movie. xi xin ehs? haha.

ACTUALLY i wrote the above weeks ago but didnt have the time to post it. =/

anyway, working makes time pass really fast. and makes me realise time is indeed precious cuz i find out that u dun have exactly much time for my frens n family; more so for myself.

last week i felt i'd spent my time really well! after work on tues, i joined my supervisors on a trip down to the sub-ordinate courts to watch how they prosecute those who refused to pay up their bills. other than MDA, there were also ppl frm NEA, AVA. it was an eye-opening experience for me. but i felt rather sad seeing so many ppl who cant pay up their bills are from a particular race.

at this road junction of heeren & cine, there's this particular indian hunch-back woman who peddles tissue papers illegally. im sure some pple have seen her before as she looks awfully pitiful. yup, i saw her there at the court too.

on that particular tues night, there were about a hundred of them. and about 80% of them pleaded for lenience said the same thing; that is give them more time to pay up. i was thinking cant the govt do something more constructive to help them! how can they pay up their bills in a mth's time if they're jobless and have a family to feed???

weds was our jc class chalet. in short, it was great seeing all of them again! (: felt disappointed that koon cldnt stayed longer though. once again, i missed the opportunity of staying for the night. last year was cuz of the genting family trip. and this year was cuz there were too much work to be completed the nxt day.

on friday, i would say i had the most enthralling night of the year! jeri abruptly asked me out for dinner with pf. and so after dinner at chinatown square, jeri brought us to a place where i was stunned for words. the night view from there was spectacular. (((: it seems so sacred as that magical place is known to little ppl. as promised, i cant tell others this place. anyway i dun even know how to get there. haha! after that, we went to newly-revamped clarke quay as i wanted to soak into the night life. watching ppl buggy-jump, checking out the interesting layouts of the countless restaurants/pubs, the walk across the bridge, ..... the experience can never be better! ((:

sat afternoon was spent playing maijong at jeri's hse with some jc peeps. and i got to watch huang jin jia!!! yuups it was a splendid show! and sarong, i love the plot too! heez. (: after that, we went to orchard to shop. there were SO many sales going on... but can u believe that i went home empty handed???? haha. i was quite angry with myself too. luckily i had great company!
looking forward to the next gathering at sentosa on tues.
